Here is what a Care Co-ordinator for a person we support, who has been a new resident with us since January, had to say:
“Since his arrival, I have been impressed with the support he has been receiving. He and I have appreciated the approach that staff have taken with him, which has been clear and respectful of him and his boundaries.
I have noticed that staff make an effort to try and engage him in various tasks, that recently he had struggled to maintain, such as cooking, looking at creating a financial plan and going out . They have helped to motivate him. There has been notable progress and he has considered going out on trips with staff, something that which he has avoided for a number of years.
The accommodation itself is also inviting to people who visit such as the art work on the walls and bright open environment.”
Hearing feedback like this makes us proud of our staff, as we pride ourselves on our person-centred care.
